What is included in the Blue Raft-experience?

Accepted Answer

1. Blue Raft is a floating camping experience for up to 4 adults (Blue Raft 1) or 5 adults (Blue Raft 2)
2. Blue Raft is suitable for children. 
3. The Blue Raft platform has sleeping a cabin with mattress and lockable transparent doors, and a sun deck with a lee fence and table bench set, as well as a toilet section with a camping toilet.
4. There are solar panels that gives electricity to lamps and lanterns and a USB-charging port.
5. A rowing boat is included, and you have to sail back and forth yourself. It takes 5-8 minutes.
6. You have two SUPs included
7. You have Blue Raft and rowing boat between check in after 13.00 and check out before 10.00.
8. There are cleaning equipment and bags for toilet and waste. 
9. Cleaning is not included, so you must take all waste with you when returning home. There is a waste bin on land by the dinghy.

Question 2

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

You can park right next to the raft with both bike and car. Please note that car parking is paid by the hour via a parking app.
There are often available spots right by the raft or nearby.
If you'd like to check parking costs in advance, you can look up the area around Dexter Gordons Vej in a parking app.
If you're looking for free parking, there are spots available west of Sydhavnsgade.

Question 3

What should you bring yourself?

- Phone to scan QR code for check in/out 
- Food and water/drinks
- Equipment to cook food (coal grill is not allowed)
- Bedlinnen, duvets, sleeping bag, pillow

Question 4

How do you get out to blue raft?

Accepted Answer

A dinghy with life jackets and oars is included in the rental of blue raft. You have the dinghy in the period you have rented the blue raft. The dinghy is located in the immediate area and is approx. 5-8 minutes rowing from blue raft. In your confirmation email, you will receive more information about where to find the dinghy. Many others also use their own canoe, kayak, SUP or boat.

Question 5

Can I cook at blue raft?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You’re welcome to cook using a camping stove (Trangia), gas grill, or spirit burner.Charcoal grills are not allowed, as they cause unpleasant smoke for our neighbours.

Question 6

What toilet facilities are there?

Accepted Answer

We offer two toilet options: a toilet and customer access to the restroom at Circle K. Please remember that the harbour is not a toilet – not for “number 1” or “number 2.”
Toilet
You have a separate toilet section with lighting, allowing you to use the toilet in peace and privacy. You may urinate directly into the toilet, but a bag must be inserted for bowel movements. Bags are available in the black container on the wall next to the field toilet.When finished, tie a knot in the bag and place it in the black waste bin using another bag.
All waste – including toilet bags – must be taken with you upon return and disposed of in the waste container on land.

Customer Toilets at Circle K and Kajkant Sluseholmen
If you prefer a flush toilet, you can use the customer toilet at Circle K, located 200 meters west, or sail to Kajkant Sluseholmen, where there is a public restroom. The map shows where you can dock while using the toilet.
Please note that docking at private boat clubs is not permitted.

Question 7

Cancellation and rebooking

Accepted Answer

1. Cancellations are made by sending an email to info@cphraft.com. State the reservation number and date of reservation.
2. If canceled no later than 4 days (96 hours) before the reservation starts, the entire amount will be refunded minus an administration fee of DKK 50.
3. If the reservation is canceled less than 4 days (96 hours) before the reservation starts, the money will not be refunded.
4. If CPH RAFT cancels, the entire amount will be refunded.
5. CPH RAFT can cancel if weather conditions make sailing and staying on the blue raft unsuitable.
6. CPH RAFT is not liable for compensation in the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, theft or technical problems.

Question 8

Safety and liability

Accepted Answer

1. There are life jackets for children and adults available on both the dinghy and the blue raft.
2. If a guest causes damage to himself, others or other people's property, he is personally liable.
3. Cph Raft has liability insurance via TopDanmark.

Question 9

Commercial usage and other terms

Accepted Answer

1. The vessels may not be used for commercial use without a written agreement with CPH RAFT.
2. All prices include VAT. The entire amount for the selected experience is deducted as soon as the purchase is completed.
3. We accept Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, credit and debit cards.

Question 10

Garbage, swimming, music and party

Accepted Answer

1. Guests must take all waste with them when departing from blue raft.

3. It is permitted to bring a small bluetooth speaker on the blue raft. Loud music is not permitted. Neighbours must be respected.
4. blue raft is intended for relaxation with those you care for. It is therefore not a floating terrace that you can invite your friends out on and party loudly. Sound waves travel further over water than you think.
